You like me...you really really like me!!!
So I figured I would type something up quick as I am dragging a bit at work and I really need a break.My brain is about to shatter as I have a headache which feels its right behind my right eye, and it is seriously driving me nuts. That and I am so tired...my coffee doesn't even look good right now and that is just criminal.
Painted the basement potty last night so that is likely the reason for the headache. The room is not huge but it's not small, took two coats of paint and took me a total of about four hours to get it the way I want it to look. The stuff such as the TP holder and towel bars are not up yet but they will be tonight if I can get it done.
I need to go to Walmart and buy the girls some weight maintainence doggie food and I also have an appointment to go to Kemmet's and fix her computer as apparently she has blown up her box. She needed a new CD-RW drive so I bought her a combo drive off of New Egg like mine. I am telling you if you need PC parts, they are excellent. I have never had any trouble with them, even when I had to return a dud hard drive. They were absolutely wonderful.
Back to the potty, it's a mocha color. I like to call it mocha frap to be safe, or thirsty. It's nice, it is the same color we used in the office, but I think instead of a black border I will do a green in the bathroom as the fixture (which I will not replace, that is too much work for me right now even tho I do like electricity) is staying and has green on it. It will offset it from the Office yet be nice enough to match it.
I do want to get new wall hanging for the potty. I chucked all my babies in cups and stuff, it will be much more contemporary now. The upstairs is rather traditional and we are attempting to shake things up a bit so this will be interesting. I am not really a contemporary girl, I like it but it really doesn't speak to me which is odd considering how I like things decluttered, but it's almost sparce and makes the space feel unused. And believe me, I am looking forward to having some space again, if I stub my toe or bang my knee one more time...
So....with that the carpet will be going down tomorrow. I am so excited...it's a lovely off white mocha-ish again, with flecks of a rust/maroon color depending on the light. I think it will be awesome and bring some fun to the basement that we need. It still will stay with the contempo feel with a bit of flair! (toss in a hip check here)
So, otherwise all I am doing is fighting to stay awake here, slurping my coffee down by the potfuls considering Kemmet left me here all alone so she can take care of her Criminal (Brackston) and Mini Mark aka Probation Officer (Brennen).
Thanks for that Love. I am bored out of my skull.
