Hockey...
Edited to add more junk:
In Heaven there is no beer
(No beer?!)
That's why we drink it here
And when we're all gone from here
Our friends will be drinking all the beer.

No hockey on TV...boo hoo. So I am listening to it on the internet. Sniff.
But it's funny, they are bitching about Doug Woog.
Woog.
hee.
Get this, the game was Fogged Out.
The power to the arena in Boston was lost twice, it was 80 degrees in the building, and it was on CSTV. Boston College looks like a bunch of tuition hungry mongers that are too cheap to fix up their hockey arena. They claim that since it is October that they shouldn't need air conditioning.
Give me a break. That is just being cheap so they can buy all the student $5 yellow t-shirts to wear to the game which likely they will use to soak up the melted ice on the arena floor tonight.
The game was a draw as under NCAA rules that if two periods are played that the game can be called for safety reasons. The fog I guess was really bad where the goalies couldn't even see the puck and the ice was so soft they were having a hard time actually skating on it.
Crazy shit. I guess we are spoiled with the 200 Million Dollar NoDak Hockey Hut in Granny.
Birthday Hang Over
well I am here, upright, not buried but probably should be. I feel like someone ran me over with a tractor.
Yesterday's neck pain turned to a full blown migraine by the time I left yesterday so I didn't really want to do a lot. We did go out to eat and come back to the house and chilled for awhile but I was in bed at 9:45.
At least today I don't have the headache but my neck is still stiff. I laid off the Starbucks today which killed me but I figured I should just in case. Yesterday I wonder if I juiced myself up too soon as I had a triple yesterday.
This afternoon at 4:00 we have another smoke & mirrors meeting at the Village. I don't even want to go because its so stupid. They will pretty much just say whatever so they can tell us how awful we are. We can stay at work to be told that and we get paid to be here!
So we will see what joy that brings us...
barf.
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Me!
Today I am 33. Don't feel it, don't care. It's just my special day and that is all that matters.
My neck is a bit stiff today so that isn't really making it all that amazing but oh well, I will get over that.
I came into work today and Lisa had bought me some latte candies and some sugar free carmel sryup for my coffee pot, how nice of her. And a Happy Bunny card...I wub it.
Sheila & Cindy gave me cards, Lloyd and Jai sent me ecards, and Celeste sent me a text message on her way back from Mayo...I feel so fuzzy.
Tonight we are going to go out to eat, probably to the Golden Corral because we are going to be taking Mom, Kelly, & Carson with us. We will have our own time next week when we go on vacation so I am cool with it.
I am also looking at digital cameras. Ours is so old and nasty we really need a new one. Unfortunately you don't get those for free.
Donations are always welcome.
Eat like you won't tomorrow
I am trying to plow through this blog entry quick and eat a sandwich faster so later I can be sick on more than one level:

I wiped my nose on this...wonder what it tastes like?

Damn it Dad, I don't like that thing!

I am not a girl.

You will listen to everything I have to say.

I feel like I have five shirts on and two diapers. This is not a Christmas Story!
Blissfully Unaware
Yeah, I wish!
I am kinda droopy today, about ready to take a damn nap as a matter of fact. I am not sure what the problem is with me but if I am getting sick before our vacation I am going to pop out a turkey.
This weekend was fun...Friday was shot because Lloyd didn't come home after work till about 10:30 so I wasn't too thrilled about that - which is is fully aware of.
Saturday we did bowling...I didn't do horribly bad as I was anticipating, I bowled over 100 each game for me is pretty damn spectacular considering I haven't bowled in two years.
Saturday night Jason Ray called us as he was in town for his cousin's wedding. We crashed it, and for as sad as we thought we were for doing that, the crowd was small. We knew some of them as they were the Jamestown crowd but still. We wound up going to the bar and sitting there for about an hour or so before they kicked us out. Then Jason stayed at our house and we ate salsa till the chips were gone.
Sunday we had wee-man's baptism. I have some more pics to post that Mom & Dad gave to me to put on my blog.
My little Parker is such a good little man. He slept most of the day and then woke up and came to Aunt Deb and Grandpa Barnick for awhile and then wanted to eat. We left about three and then I started laundry, soup, football, and dishes. I had planned on squeezing in ironing but it just didn't happen yesterday. Maybe tonight depending on my level of disgust. I really don't want to do it.
We have to clean house too as we are in the final stretch before we go to Orlando. I am so ready to go. On Friday I ran for lunch and the Allegiant Jet was flying over South Bismarck and it just made me want these next few days just fly.
I am also getting kind of dumpy again. Not sure if it is because my birthday is around the corner or if it is just my nerves again. Every time I start to get happy I find a way to crash and burn. Who knows.
11 days.
