I finally had a hamburger. It was tasty and I tried to eat it slowly. I would really like another one, as it was one of those wee little cheeseburgers at Ducks. I don't need those big ones anymore, that was more my speed.
I also got an Iced Coffee. That sucker is going down quick and I just realized something, I have been drinking the son of a bitch with a straw...no no no no no...damn it. well that has to go right now...
got rid of the straw, it's not as good as I don' t like all that ice on my lips. But I will finish it as I don't waste coffee, EVER.
We are going to take Carson out for dinner tonight, I am guessing he is going to want to go to the Golden Corral so he can have dessert like a King. That boy eats like there is no tomorrow...thank god he has a high metabolism otherwise he would weigh more that Lloyd and I combined!
So far today is easy as she goes. I have been working on fluff stuff just to get it moving and that is about it right now. Friday with all the transfer stuff god knows what it will be like here so I am prepping my brain for that. Thank god I leave work at 3 as we have another appointment at the Village. Lloyd is not looking forward to it as he is convinced that they are going to rip him apart again due to that Questionnaire we took. I am sorry but yes & no questions don't determine how good of a parent you are or can be. Nothing is that cut and dry, and unfortunately I am an asshole for questioning their methods but people lie and that just can't be trusted.
Of course the first time you are honest they don't trust you either so you're fucked either way.
Well back to the battle within my office.
I hate today...
Today has been just a major pain in the ass. I am still fighting with this new Word 2007 ribbon, I hate it, it's not remotely pratical and I really don't know what Microsoft was smoking when they did this. To me it's not user friendly at all.
That and all the digging thru my stuff. We are switching to the state server on Friday so I have to go thru all my stuff and see what I am going to keep and what to chuck. I also need to switch my email from Thunderbird to Outlook which is fine but I need to make sure that it will convert and I am doing it my damn self.
The next thing that I have been up to is archiving all my info from Novell Groupwise as we will no longer be on a Novell server. That has been interesting but I managed to get mine done and explained it a bit to some of the others around here.
On top of all this, I am swimming in work. I just can't seem to get anything done and I am not sure why. I pick it up, look at it, and for god's sakes, I come back and it is still here when I thought I finished it. At least my phone has been quiet but I do have two calls to return in the next hour with the six cases that I want to review. I am not sure if it is all going to get done or not before I leave at 4:00, and god help me I am leaving.
I did eat today, soup. I did not like it. I had a fig neuton, it was mighty tasty but the seeds got stuck in my teeth and other parts. Not a good feeling.
So now my mouth is a bit sore. I hope that isn't a precursor to things to come as I have been so careful not to get dry socket.

Lazy but I don't care...
Sorry, I have been a shameful blogger but I have been busy and now decided I wanted to be lazy for a day.
Thanks to Lori my day at work was not so bad. She did a lot of my work on Friday and for that I went and thanked her and took her away from her work for about 45 minutes. Oops...we didn't get caught so tough.
Before that however I was in Lisa's office babbling about Heroes. Oh we have gotten into this show as I picked up the DVD's on Thursday...I know this is something that Lisa and Mark would really like. So after we are done, they are going to borrow them...I smell an Alias Reunion as we used to staff Alias on Thursday Mornings.
I am still living off of kibbles, aka - starving. I did manage to eat a steak tonight but I think it was not the best idea so back to soft crap for now...ugh. I WANT A HUGE HAMBURGER. SOMETHING JUICY AND TOTALLY AGAINST MY DIET AND MORALS.

Tonight Lloyd is out so I am sitting here caving to ads in my gmail from Victoria's Secret. I went and got myself some sale items...things I think I am really going to like (0nly one bra...the other stuff was actual clothing) as I really need some shirts so I can shit can some of those t-shirts I have. Not that t-shirts are bad but I have really ratty old ones that really need to find the bottom of the rag drawer in the kitchen.
The ditch work is coming along, they are about up to Rona's yard so that means I really should get out there and flag the sprinkler heads and talk to the moron from Weisz Construction. If those goons encroach on my grass they are going to hear about it. The stakes they have marked out there are in the back yard itself, and that was not sitting well with me. One bonus is that I get to have shit golf again as I am throwing the turds back in the ditch till they are done, screw picking up the furniture.
