Two wheeled death...damn post is not letting me title yet again.

So here I am - guilty as all sin because I haven't been to the gym and its nice out, about 70 degrees, great evening to get on your bike.

Well my bike is made for a midget, so I had to ride Lloyd's. Not that his bike is bad but apparently he had a nice injury to it as the pedal sprocket is all bent - I hadn't noticed this till I was, oh, a mile from home and had rammed into a curb.

and no, I did not do it, honest. I didn't hit it that hard, no one was looking.

That and I must have had way too much to drink in the last month as I drove that thing nearly sideways. I am really wondering how I was able to keep my balance as I felt like I was going to tip ass over tea kettle. I did take quite the tour however and over some rolling terrain. That is the one beautiful thing about Bismarck, is that if you are in the right spots you can see the whole city, and I was on my favorite spot on Ithica Drive. I am telling you, I would buy a lot there and build a new home if I could. I would just love to look at that view all day long instead of looking at Little Canada. Not that Little Canada is bad, hey, we are patriotic, neighborly, and we just kick ass when it comes to bitching at the city, but the view of my neighbor's Budda by their table just isn't the view I was hoping for. They are lovely people that get lovely credit card bills that are neatly tucked into my mailbox so frequently by the mail man. I think I may have to leave him a present if he does that again.

Wonder where I can get a scorpion from...

Anyhoo, back to my bike ride. I forgot how much damn work it is to ride a bike, as when I was a kid it was the only mode of transportation since my mom didn't drive so I guess I didn't notice it but now that I drive everywhere (well not to the mailbox, I just stop there on my way home...hee) I forgot how much physical labor it is. It was fun but of course you can't have something productive and fun without having some sort of incident with me.

My friggin foot acted up again. The nerves on occasion will get all tight if I move my foot a certain way and my toes cross over, it is painful and I really don't know what to do about it. Usually I try to walk it off but that didn't work so I drove through the pain, till I had to stop and stretch it on the curb. I did make it home and pulled off my shoe as soon as I hit the stairs and pulled on my bitties. Finally I got it to work itself out but it is still twitching so I am being careful with what I do with that leg till that goes away.

I am wondering if the accident that I got into when I was young and stupid has anything to do with this.

When I was 14, I was dating a guy that lived about 50 miles south of Jamestown and I stayed with him for the summer. Yes, gasp. Anyhoo, we were out in a field of corn screwing around on his motorcycle and we drove right into a hole and the motorcycle flipped over and I flew off but my foot got hooked on the license plate and ripped the top of my foot apart. You could basically see everything, it was rather nasty.

Well I refused to go to the emergency room so I stuffed my foot into a cooler of ice over night and slept on the couch. Foot has never been right after that and the scar is still there to prove it. Of course I have been too stupid and proud to go to the doctor to have it looked at as it doesn't freak that often but when it does, oh my god...

So now I am trying to determine how far I went. I didn't right on any specific trail but I went west on Calgary to Montreal, up Versailles and over to Washington, south down Washington on the kick ass hill, west on Century to Interstate and east to come back home on 4th. I thought about going to the river trails before my foot took a dirt nap so now here I sit.

I am going to try to find Lloyd and I some place to crash in Orlando too. I got the flight taken care of so it will be the nights the County covers at the Coronado Springs Resort and then I need to figure out if we are going to just stay there or go somewhere else and be tight for the rest of the trip. I don't know.

If anyone has pointers, start flippin them to me.

yeah, I know that one already, no need to inform me I am numero uno. I know that already sweetheart.

Why is it when you have a sandwich it's a challenge to eat?

so here I am stuffing my lunch down my throat between phone calls and the crap is sliding off the bread.

It's not overly smeared with butter or mayo, actually it is just turkey, cheese, and a piece of lettuce on wheat bread. How difficult can that be to eat?

for the food challenged, plenty.

now it has fallen completely apart so I just ate the stuff separate. Why bother slaying the dragon that is already dead?

Well the Suhr four year olds (Lloyd and I) have our flights booked for his conference in Orlando in October. Finally something to look forward to other than a long weekend!

Of course we got raped on airfare but since we are booking now we can actually get some of it paid for before we go. I am really looking forward to "quiet time" even if we are going to be running like hell.

Grandma called last night to tell me that Lance fell into a hole at work. Now only he could manage such a feat and I guess he hurt himself pretty good too. Hopefully that will work itself out so Parker doesn't have a screaming buddy and Veronica's ears don't bleed.

well I managed to eat the other half of my sandwich before it fell apart but it was on the path of destruction as it was in mid land slide when I shoved it in.

at least I am not wearing it.

The Brief is done...(it was done yesterday actually!)

Okay, now that I have my brief done I have been working on other stuff...like painting the office.

Due to all the crap being out of the basement due to the sump pumps backing up, we have nothing down there in the way to actually do some painting. Don't fret, my red walls are staying, I am not giving those up and Lloyd likes them too much anyhoo.

So, with that we painted the office a "warm buff". It's not white so no rolling of the eyes. It's a deep tan color, almost a dijon if you will. It looks really nice and when we get the furniture back in the office and the new carpet I think it will really rock.

With that now I have to shower and clean the rest of this place as it looks like someone took a shit everywhere.
