Holy Hell is it Hot!
Okay first of all, it's too hot outside to moooooove.Sorry I had to do it.
But it friggin is to hot. I think right now it is hovering around 100 degrees...heat & I don't get along that well to begin with but this is insane.
That and everything else is making me that way.
Lloyd has been busy trying to get prepared for his attempted murder trial is is trying starting Tuesday. I have been trying to do the best I can to get everything done around the house that needs to be done but it just doesn't end.
First, on Monday (the 16th) I bought Lloyd this:

but the problem, it wasn't assembled. So I caught a bit of hell because it wasn't assembled.
I will finish this later more drama...the tire on Lloyd's bike is dead.
kill me please.
Okay back: no, I am not in trouble, just more stuff to deal with.
So the grill, we did get it assembled on Friday, took me a bit in the afternoon to get started on it but I was crusing along till I needed to put the top part on, so I had to wait.
So I went to Epic to drop off Carson's bike and thought about looking at bikes till I saw how much they were...I proceeded to go to Walmart.
Still didn't buy a bike, or anything for that matter as I needed to get Lloyd a laser pen for his trial. Like I said I didn't buy anything because they didn't have any.
So...get in the RAV and run to Office Depot. Get hunted down like a deer in November, finally get the hell out of there with a nice laser pen and a few mini roller balls which are my staple pens. People in the office know not to attempt to take them or death will be upon them.
So I go back, get Carson's bike and get home. Ll0yd is right behind me and then helps get the grill put together. End of Friday because we didn't even have enough left in us to go to a movie like we wanted to.
Saturday:
First of all I woke up this morning with a sinus headache. I swear it has to be the heat...it's driving me crazy. So I ask Lloyd to get me a few lumps and I stay in bed while he gets up to go to the Y.
He comes back about 9:30 ish or so and he calls the Jail to see who needs to have bond set. While he is on the phone my cell rings, it's the officer. I look at the counter, we have four phones going here. Julie calls as I am supposed to host scrapbooking today, no chance in hell. This is not looking to be a good day.
So I get in the shower after brewing a pot of coffee, then Lloyd. I barely slurp it down and we are out the door to the Courthouse for PC. Get there, that takes about 20 minutes or so. Then we head to Epic again because I forgot about the gears on Carson's bike. While there I remember to call Jules, works that we aren't scrapping, thank god, I felt horrible.
Then we wait for what seems forever with Carson's bike. Lisa calls. Mark got subpoenaed to a trial on Tuesday, sounds messy? It is. He didn't even know about it. So Lloyd helps her out and finally Carson's bike is done. Leave Epic on the way to Sears.
Get a text enroute from Celeste. She's still being annoyed by Bob and is feeling rough. Lloyd says detour and we take the bike to the house and head to her apartment. Help her calm down some and reassure her that what she is doing is the right thing.
So then we are off, to get a lawn mower. Neither of us has ate, we are hot and it is just becoming one hell of a day. We buy a lawn mower, it is really a nice one so I am happy about that, get it home and of course it is in a friggin box.
Well the grill came in a box. This is in a box. We have more cardboard than UPS at this point and I can't stand it, thus I figure take the crap to the landfill. Oh yes, the landfill.
So I push it in the RAV, it doesn't fit so I have to crush it down some and finally get the door closed. I couldn't get the blown up lawn mower in there so that is next weekend's trip. Oh I am dying to go after this one.
So there I was, in my heels out in the middle of Dump #1. Oh and the heat makes it smell so much better as I was walking around the diapers, couches, banana peels and other odds and ends that people don't desire to keep in their homes. But let me tell you Lee, the garbage dude, must have been tickled pink that there was a woman out there because I thought I was going to be on that couch with him if I didn't get lost rather quickly.
So then to Walmart to get a few things for supper and an oil change. I get to the lube desk and the guy is sweating profusely. I almost wanted to offer him my shirt to wipe himself down as I thought he was punching his timecard to heaven. Alas our hero was able to function long enough to get my digits and get the RAV penciled in - so I was off for 90 minutes of shopping although he did say 45 would be tops.
I got bored at Walmart. That and there is more wild life walking around that place than Theodore Roosevelt National Park and most of them weigh just as much. No offense, I am not a light weight either but I felt like Kate Moss in there. It was rather sad yet extremely entertaining. There was one guy back in automotive that tried to hijack my damn cart. I was not afraid to shoot him the skank eye for attempting to steal my savory treasures.
Finally they annouce my name over the PA after I had had it and went to the check out. I hauled my ass back to Lube again to wait for 10 minutes as heart attack in a sack was still sweating to the oldies and running his ass off. I truly felt bad for the man. He remembered my name (sign? not sure) and got me on my way.
Well I get home and realize that the breaks on Carson's bike were tight when we dropped it off nearly 4 hours before so I looked at it and adjusted what I could. Worked pretty damn good if I say so myself.
Then Lloyd and Carson showed up for supper and just some RAPZILLA time. Carson enjoys rap so we usually will eat to it. Ask Shirley, she can swear under oath that this occurs. If it makes him feel comfortable here I have no problem with it. Fo' shizzle.
So after we snarfed down turkey burgers (they are good, get the seasoned ones...you will be shocked) and ice cream cake (I know...laugh) the boys were going to go out for that bike ride I mentioned above but I have to fix Lloyd's bike tire sometime this week now. Tomorrow will have to be it.
Then I flew on my broom to Mark & Lisa's to work on their firebox as apparently there were issues. I had picked up a new CD Combo Drive for them from New Egg and then realized I didn't have the right friggin cord so I had to come home and pull the writer out of our old IBM. The thing is new I just don't use that PC any more so this worked out great. I will still get them a cord but for now they can get back to business. Their PC was behaving nasty to me as they have issues with their digital camera but I have a feeling there is a software issue there that I can't seem to lick at this time. I will have to do some trolling and see if I can patch it for them...I am still mad about that. Should have been a simple fix.
But while we were fixing and trolling we were talking about ring tones...oh and did I find what I wanted while I was working on this. I am able to transfer ones to my phone and I found the Hamster dance song...oh god that brings back memories when we all first started at the Courthouse so it is currently my ring tone. I should be able to help out Mark & Lisa too with theirs now that I know what to do. They have the same phone I do so it will be simple, just find your tone and I will hook you up man.
With that I am going to take my snoring dogs and my sticky slop ass to bed. Another night in 100% humidity...oh joy. (with dogs drooling on top)
