Dumpster Party!

I may need to make another dash to the landfill this week, oh joy!

We have carpet people...CARPET!

So I have been working to clean up our stuff that we had downstairs so we know what we actually have. So far so good, I have tossed a whole box of crap away, broke a picture frame and spray painted a shelf.

We still have a lot to do yet, bring back all the big furniture that I am not able to move by myself such as the tv, the chaises, the fridge, the poker table, the barister, and the file cabinet. Speaking of that I really should go through the shredding again as it's full.

So I am hoping by the end of the weekend that our home will be back to normal and clean. Not that it's a dirty pit but if I am going to have a dumpster party I really should clean up after myself.

I also checked out my neighbor's garbage can as he is Cali for the next few days. Found that it is empty so guess what I am going to be doing...loading it up. I am in fear that the garbage guys are not going to take my garbage on Friday if they see all that piled up on my curb. I chucked a game chair and will be hauling out the old grill on Thursday night so it's going to look like we just had a rummage sale.

okay I will have to add to this later, I worked thru lunch and just realized that it is 3:35.

I think my ass cheeks are sweating...yes, they are.

Okay I am going to die if it doesn't cool off at least a little bit in the next few days.

I am waiting for the ivory tower to combust...it will happen.
(from the heat...from the HEAT!)

Anyhoo, Heidi and I (my boss) were out in the parking lot chasing after a little dog that was not very nice as we were worried about the dog, not so much ourselves.

So I called the number on the tag, no answer, called the PD to send animal control.

Well finally the owner showed up and was all surprised that the dog jumped out.

Um, man, it's like 100 degrees...you want to be full of fur and sitting in the heat? I don't give a crap if there is shade or not...I almost wanted to come unglued but not in front of Heidi.

I swear people do get stupid when it gets hot and cold around here...but you know overall most people are stupid. See Walmart blog from Saturday.

So I mowed the hill yesterday in extreme haste. I slipped on the tall grass too and nearly ran over my foot with that speed demon too. It's a nice lawn mower and even if I would have ran it over and been without a foot I wouldn't take it back.

Who would fall down the hill however mowing?

*Raises hand*

You betcha.

So I ran home at noon to look at the carpet. I have Layne Staley from Alice in Chains

putting in my carpet. But imagine him talking like Mickey Mouse. I don't know what the hell I saw but I know that I hope all my belongings will be there when I get home.

The carpet does look nice and I am overjoyed. I can't wait to get all the crap put back where it belongs and be DONE WITH IT.

The toilet dude showed up and fixed my potty too as the flush valve was broke, hell, we fixed all three of them this year. I am wondering if it is operator error or what but the carpet dude kinda got freaked out when he showed up. At least everything is getting done.

Although I may need to get a part time job to pay for all this stuff...who is going to hire me? I am lucky to have the job I have right now!

(besides I would not want to talk on the phone, sit too long, help people, or do any extra physical activity. Limits my options...heck, I sound like one of my obligors. Perhaps I can apply for some sort of disability. If I keep wearing myself this thin I may qualify!)

Well back to get grind, not that I am terribly missing doing anything at the moment.
