More Rain...Come On!

Oops, hit enter too many times and posted nothing.

We will try this again.

So today I only had to work a half, it was nice. I got home after Lloyd and I went out for lunch and started laundry, put away the dishwasher, checked the email, folded towels, ran and got groceries, fixed a relish tray, and now I am making some chili.

What a difference 4 hours off can make.

So I figured I would blog quick, check the chili, check the dark clothes then wait for Lloyd to come home.

It's raining or it has been most of the day now so I have no desire to go outside. The hose is out in the ditch and I really should go get it as it is really bothering me but I don't want to be in that muck and then deal with a dirty hose too. Lame excuse but I am attempting to buy it.

We have been invited to a Tiki Party tomorrow night. Now my question is, what is the difference between a Luau and a Tiki Party? Are they one in the same? Am I over analyzing this? Hey, that is what I do for a living so of course if is as serious as a drunken stupor I am going to figure it out one way or another.

So I am guessing a grass skirt is acceptable by any standard. So I am going to go see what I can round up. And no, I am not going to go get myself a coconut bra...I haven't lost that much weight to feel that free to whip out the girls.

Lloyd needs something too, maybe he can have a grass skirt as well. He doesn't need a shirt - lucky that is acceptable. Better not take him to the liquor store like that. No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service. Depending where you go you don't get service anyway so what is the big ass deal?

On Sunday I think we are going to take a road trip to the Peace Garden. We have never been there and I just want to say we went SOMEWHERE this summer. Not that this is mitigating our trip to Orlando, heaven's no, just that I want to get out of Bismarck for a day and breathe. We can take the girls so that is fun too. I might have to go get them longer leashes as their short ones may not cut it for all that excitement they likely will encounter.

Speaking of the girls, the place where we tan - the owner's daughter has a half boston/jack russell mix. She's five years old, naughty, but has a wonderful personality. She was a part of a large litter that someone was attempting to over price the dogs.

Well upon hearing about this, I whip out my cell and start fumbling thru my many pictures of the girls and we are now convinced that we found some siblings for Mollie & Torrie. Lucy seems to be just like Mollie, but fatter (if you can believe it - she's 41 pounds!) and a bit more white around the face. Of course I found this interesting so we are going to try to arrange a play date for the dogs at the dog park. Her Granddaughter makes doggie cakes so I am guessing that we will have some cake...good lord. I thought our dogs were spoiled!

Well, with that I am off to see if my Chili is going to turn out like shit and wind up in the garbage disposal.

hee.

Taco Tuesday...

No, no tex mex or whatever they are using to sell tacos now days...just me and my stud of a nephew.

Ain't he sweet? He's such a good little man and with an Aunt like me he really doesn't have many options of being a baddie...

Well, I car-b-qued myself again last night tanning.

Tanning sans clothes is a preferred method but when there are parts that haven't seen light in a long time they need a bit more attention than others. I know this but of course I love to walk that line of "should I or should I be stupid...?" and well you can imagine what I did. I baked my colorless ass for 12 minutes last night. Of course I don't really notice much except my tail bone is itching like I have cooties in my pants. Well I was at Walmart so of course I can't just grab a brush and start scratching even tho among that cast of peeps no one would likely notice but I don't want that getting on some video clip show or worse, You Tube.

So I refrained from scratching but as soon as I got in the car I was kicking like I had fleas. When I got home I noticed that the valley between the girls was starting to itch too. At first I thought I could curb myself and not dare to dive, but to hell with it, I did. Soon I noticed that I had almost a case of the hives. I could stop scratching, so I thought, okay, Benadryl then. Well I had no oral stuff so I had spray - all that stuff is good for is bra tape. Sticky shit indeed.

So I figured some aloe should take care of it. That just made me smell. So I figured if I could sleep, I can't itch, so I took some Tylenol PM. Well that took 45 minutes to kick in but I managed to make it through the night.

So I need to go tonight again but the bits are going to be covered. I hate to do that but I have to go if I am going to get rid of this shirt that I have on due to my burn on the 4th. Perhaps I just need to get drunk before I go so I can't feel anything...that seemed to work on the 4th...

The Monday Ultimatum

No, I am not going to start kicking ass, yet.

We went to see the Bourne Ultimatum on Friday...it was really good. If you have seen the first two, you have got to go...and well, Matt Damon...he's nice on the eyes too.

It was a mild mannered weekend at the Suhrs.

No drinking as no one invited us to do so. Tried to see if Ty and Lynn wanted to go out or do something, nope. Lisa - out of town. Celeste - roughing it at Lake Metigoshe. Bob and Lloyd are having a lover's tiff so we were not invited to go to Prairie Knights.

So we stayed home and cleaned house, watched Hot Fuzz (which was hilarious...if you like Shaun of the Dead you will like this as well.)

I did something rather strange yesterday. I vacuumed the garage. With the actual vacuum cleaner, not the shop vac. I like the shop vac but I didn't want to have to bend over and use that little tiny hole, I wanted to suck like I have never sucked in the garage before...so I vacuumed my ass off. It looks pretty good too.

Oh the sumps are going again...mother fucker. The hose is draped across the living room floor right now because I was going to see if we can get someone in to plumb the thing out on the driveway as it should be done. I have to call that dude back...probably could do that now I suppose.

I am also making one of my obligor's twist in the wind. She didn't show up for her contempt hearing last Tuesday so the court issued a warrant...well, she caught wind of it and now is in a world of panic. She's called twice already...wonder how much longer I should make her wait...it's rather early in the day yet.

Evil. I know.

It's hella fun.
