Shake your Maracas!
Where does one find mexican chocolate in North Dakota?Miroslava bought me this wonderful cookbook with what she calls a "cracker" on the cover (white dude) and made fun of it because how many mexican crackers do you see? Well apparently this guy can cook so I think she was hinting to try something different. Due to her being mexican and all no offense was taken by anyone...
(here is the cracker)

I have poured over the book on several occasions but wanted something special to actually make something out of it.
Well now that we are having this fiesta party tomorrow (I didn't realize it was tomorrow till I figured out today is actually Hump Day...what is the matter with me?) I have to get this going. So I am going to make an authentic mexican chocolate streussel cake. Problem I am having is that I need some mexican chocolate.
I have been picking my brain to think of a store that may have some international items - and the only place I can think of is Big Lots. Strange as that is, they may actually have some so I am going to check.
Shame on me for letting this go - usually I am not that bad. Last night I had to run errands and if I would have thought of this I would have taken care of this too...ugh.
Not like running for 4 cases of bottled water is huge, but after walking Mollie & Torrie - or tripping over Torrie is more like it - and vacuuming the whole house as it is a dust ball, I didn't have much time left to do anything else other than get a bite to eat, watch the news and crash.
So tonight I am going to have to haul ass. Problem is that I don't get out of here till 5:30 and I have to go tan again...actually that was nice last night...calmed me down and I drifted off for 18 minutes. It's one place where I can just attempt to calm my brain. I tune up my mp3 player on my cell phone and just go elsewhere.
Okay, daydream over - must work on alerts and google chocolate.
and stop chatting with Lisa May...not that I don't love you my dear...
