Booze and Death...go together like chips & dip!

Okay not a very smart weekend did I have.

I got all dressed for the tiki party, which was like a luau, if only one dresses up and makes an ass of herself.

Granted, I think that there would have been more costume action if it would have been a bit more tropical than the balmy 57 degrees it was. Believe me, in a grass skirt and less, it's not even that warm.

Of course Lloyd got a kick out of me getting out of the car on North 19th street...which if you are familiar with Bismarck actually has traffic on it.

We get up to the house and we couldn't figure out if we were supposed to go in the garage door or the front door so there was more of me standing outside looking like fucking idiot in front of all those that would drive by...which felt like everyone in town. Finally we figured out that we needed to go in the front door as Matt & Matt were in the garage using a saw to cut coconuts. At least I got props for coming dressed. I just wish I would have brought my stuff with me to change into as I had to leave for a bit to get clothes as I couldn't take it any longer...

So we ate some I kept drinking. Seven Mike's Hard later I hit a Berry. Berry is gross. You might as well put a nipple on a bottle of drano and drink that. It was completely disgusting and I was not thrilled but I am not one to waste so I drank it. I wish I would have tossed up my salad at that point because I paid dearly for it.

We sat around the fire after I took everyone's money at poker...that was nice. The thing is that I realized yesterday that fire and I don't mix well as I smell like it for days after. I get headaches from that smell, so stupid paid for that too...how you ask?

Well we left at about 11:30 as we were going to go to the Peace Garden the next day with the girls just for a nice little trip up north as we really haven't done anything all summer and well summer is just about gone.

It was a long night of cotton mouth, trips to the bathroom to die several times over, sweating, freezing, and attempting to get some blankets back from Mollie. I didn't sleep nearly at all, and we got up at 8:00 as we were going to hit the road early to get going to Dunseith.

I crawled out of bed, hit the shower and tried to get motivated. I managed to choke down some egg beaters while Lloyd was getting ready but they didn't sit all that well. I still felt like I had a towel in my mouth so I was drinking coffee rather slow and that someone had stuffed a club up my nose. My sinuses were not liking that fire smell the 2nd day.

I took some aspirin and tried to hang in and got everyone in the RAV. We went to the Courthouse to pick up some stuff that Lloyd wanted to read on the way, and just when we were about ready to get on the interstate to connect over to State Highway 3 I just couldn't lie. I was not going to make it in more ways than one. I was pissed off at myself too as I wanted to go but I knew that I would either throw up or have a blood vessel in my head pop. So we went home.

I went back to bed and woke up at 3 o'clock and laid on the couch and prayed that I would never do this again as long as I felt better. I attempted to eat, which did not sit well in my tummy either.

I did feel better after Lloyd had stopped at Kroll's and picked up some knoephla soup. I would have made my own but I didn't know if I had all the stuff to make it, and sure shit, I did. Oh well. No matter what the cost, good old German cooking comes to the rescue. God bless Deutsch land.

But as the night went on, there was a bit of residue left over, so I think I got a touch of the flu too...needless to say I was up at 12:23 and back in bed at 12:29. But I do feel much better today other than the incredible shakes from an empty tummy and WAY too much coffee. I think it's affecting my brain too...

And those guys want to get together again tonight to play poker.

I think I will pass on the tasty beverages and stick to something clear, and not vodka either.
