Sunday.....Sunday!

Okay so I suck, it has been a few days since I posted...I have been a bit busy and I haven't been on the computer so I haven't had a chance.

Friday we had our adoption meeting, that went okay. They want us to go thru some marriage counseling touchy feely stuff so here we go. There is a report thing that we have to do before our meeting on Tuesday, I haven't really looked it over because I haven't had time but I guess I will look it over tomorrow night to see what it actually consists of and what I have to do.

Saturday I had a hair appointment that I had to move to early in the morning so I made a small oops...stayed in bed till 9:20, needed to be at the salon at 10:00 so it was a fast shower, no breakfast, no coffee, no nothing.

After I got home (a bit after 12) I wolfed down a bowl of cereal and went to tan. After that it was to Kohl's as I am looking for fall shoes. I just can't find what I really want or think would be "me"...

After that Lloyd, Carson, and I went out on the riverboat. One of the insurance agents in town does donate certain things to BB/BS and this time was a river boat ride. I was absolutely beautiful on Saturday and it was lovely to see all the cottonwoods along the river starting to turn. Since it was so nice (about 85 or so) there were a lot of people out enjoying the Missouri. I was actually really surprised.

It was two hours but they really could have kept us out there longer as it was so nice and peaceful...

Came back home, cleaned up and had supper and then Lloyd went on a Ride Along with one of the officers from the Bismarck PD. I went to the Bistro with Celeste and we were hoping that we would not draw the attention of the BPD.

We stayed, chatted, ate, and then made our way to the Oar.

Not really sure if there was a major change, it had only been about a month ago I was there but whatever I was witnessing last night was not your usual Oar crowd.

There were Stripperellas all over the place. Rap music. Someone actually was scratching. That was why I got such a good parking spot.

At first we thought that maybe the scratching was going to stop...oh no. Neither did the Tramps getting it on with each other and their boy toys were way too pretty to be straight. I am really still wondering what I saw.

Two guys were a table over from us and they were getting quite a kick out of it. I think they noticed that Celeste and I were making fun of the Raunchy Bunch so they slid over and made conversation with us. Completely harmless but it was interesting having them guess or ages.

We left at close and we went home. Celeste told me she drunk dialed last night this morning so I thought that was interesting. I know that was not her intention as she trys not do to that...I hope I wasn't being a catalyst for bad behavior.

There was one thing that bothered me last night about those two: the one figured out who I was before our guessing game was over. "I know who you are, you are Deb S. I see your name all the time...."

That nearly made me shit my pants. I was about ready to grab Celeste and get the hell out as I wasn't sure if all the sudden I was face to face with one of my boys but I figured I would play it cool and see what shook out. Apparently he is an accountant for one of the construction outfits here in town and processes my income with holding orders. Whew. But I did ask that million dollar question: "Do you have kids?" Nope for both. The other one was kind of funny, he works for Bianco - I had no clue. He looked a bit construction-ish yet was too pretty for it. Actually he reminded me of someone else I know which probably threw me way off base.

Today we got up, and then I was at it with the tomatoes. A whole box ripened on me so I was cutting tomatoes till after noon, then I had to run to Dan's to get my stuff for stew and to finish my newest round of salsa. So I will be peddling again. Nevermind that I have four more boxes to cut up.

Then I mowed grass and took a bath. Lloyd is back now from his search warrant so off to watch more Heroes.
